Welcome to Chiltern Basketball Club

AGM

The Chiltern Basketball Club AGM will be held on Wednesday 23rd May at 8pm in the Hall of the Parish Church of All Saints in Castle Street, High Wycombe (HP13 6RF). There is free parking next to the Hall. We would like everyone to attend so please come along and support your Club. The Player of the Year awards will also be presented at the AGM.

Training dates until the end of the season

Training has now finished at Wycombe High for the season and from May until mid-July, all Wycombe based training will be held on a Friday at the Cressex Community School.

This means that everyone will be affected so go here for details.

Please also note that training fees will be payable for all players as any “up front” membership payment covers the main season (from September to the end of April) only.

Lotto Bonus Ball Competition

All numbers for the latest Lotto Bonus Ball Competition have now been sold and the first draw took place on Saturday 28th April. The last draw will be held on 30th June. The list of numbers and winners can be found here.

More training sessions available for Girls

Last summer the Chiltern Pumas merged with Chiltern Basketball Club. The Pumas is for girls only and gives our Juniors, aged 11 to 18, a choice of training venues.

Our existing Chiltern sessions at Wycombe High continue to run but there is now the option of training with the Pumas at Dr Challoner’s High School in Little Chalfont on Mondays and Tuesdays. More information can be found here.

New Players Welcome - Are you interested in joining us?

If you are new to basketball, haven’t played for a while or just fancy a change of Club then, whether you’re a Junior or a Senior, Chiltern will be happy to welcome you.

Our Men's 1st team, Chiltern Fastbreak, is currently playing in Division 1 of the Wessex League and we are looking for new players who can strengthen the team and help take us on to greater success this coming season.

Chiltern Basketball Club is not just about Fastbreak though. As well as the Men's 1st team, we also have a Men’s 2nd team (Chiltern Force), a Ladies team (Chiltern Ladies) - both of whom also play in the Wessex League - and Junior teams with training sessions for boys and girls from school year 5 upwards.

Everyone is welcome to come along. You can try us for a couple of sessions (for a small training fee) before you decide whether you'd like to join us (at which point a membership fee will be payable). There's no need to contact us first - just check which group you need and turn up. You don't have to have played basketball before and we'd love to see you.
