Matches
In previous seasons we have usually played in the Bucks Central Venue League, although last season our U13 and U15 teams played, for the first time, in the Oxford Central Venue League.
This season the Leagues have changed the age groups so that the U11/U13/U15/U17 teams have now become U12/U14/U16/U18. Chiltern are playing teams as follows:
U12 – This is a mixed team of boys and girls and is for players who are in school year 7 or below. We are entered in the Bucks Central Venue League in Aylesbury and our matches will be played on a Sunday. Fixtures, results and the league table for the U12 team can be found here.
U14 – This is a mixed team of boys and girls and is for players who are in school year 9 or below. We are entered in the Bucks Central Venue League in Aylesbury and our matches will be played on a Sunday Fixtures, results and the league table for the U14 team can be found here.
U16/U18 – Unfortunately this season we have had to make the difficult decision to not enter any teams in these specific age groups. Last season we consistently struggled to raise teams, often taking less than ten players and occasionally having to cancel games. Hopefully, over the course of the year, our base of players in these age groups will increase and we will be able to enter the Leagues again next year. For this season, it is intended that our older boys will play in the Wessex League with our Senior Men’s teams, particularly the newly formed Chiltern Force. It is also likely that some friendly games will be arranged over the coming months so those players who have not been able to play in any League matches will still be able to get some competitive match play. Fixtures, results and the league table for the two Men’s teams will be shown here once they have been published.
